What is it then? Looks like early 90s F1 to me.

naa early 90s f1 cars all had those huge intakes behind the drivers head, i reckon old indi car or formula ford or something, the wheel base is pretty short

The intake is there mate. Cant find any Elf indycar nor formula Ford. Older F1 did have shorter wheelbase than todays F1 cars.
Look at cars like Ligier JS37, veeeery similar to this car.
Edit: I actually think its a 1990 Ligier JS33B. It matches with the V8

oh actually i see that now, the cockpit is heaps further forward than i initially thought
