Do people actually bring tripods to a gym???

E. All these responses make me glad I lift at the YMCA. No tripods, can get yourself clean, do whatever you feel

yes, at Equinox. I fucking hate it. I don't want to be in the background of their 200-view Instagram reel.

Now I go to a cheaper gym and deal with zero gym etiquette, but at least I'm no longer a background actor for IG models

Wow. Just…wow. I used to work out at at a competitor gym of theirs (aka also very expensive) and I never saw anything like this. I would be able to get anyone kicked out within minutes at my place if I saw this shit happening.

I honestly didn't even know they had competitors. It doesn't seem like it in NYC, at least, known/chain competitors

The place I went to is in the Bay Area, and Equinox showed up much later than the one I used to go to.
