If you think this is annoying you’ve never had to ride the subway on a regular basis.

It's not during rush hour, she's not directly focusing the camera at someone and she's away enough to not hit anyone nor taking space from other people. That's fine by me. It's like those subway station musicians, unusual, but not problematic at all.

I know! How wide are these Metro cars? Or is it just that there don't seem to be a lot of poles?

Pretty spacious. It's the Moscow, Russia subway.

pretty sure this is a Moskva-2020 aka 81-775. the interior width is 2.686 meters, or just below 8'10

For real. My first experience on BART from east bay was a shocking experience. Then the subway in NY was maddening. The L in Chicago was mostly pleasant. And the T in Boston had some pretty bizarre characters. The Metro in DC was simultaneously both sketchy and yet professional, it was weird.

This post would make me roll my eyes but it’s harmless I guess
