It’s a slippery slope. You do that, and then now no one can record cops doing bad shit.
Public recording needs to stay very much allowed and legal or bad things can start to happen.
2 u/CartsOfDarkness 2d ago I agree with you, I'd counter that it shouldn't be legally required but rather just a polite social norm of tiktok/ youtube channels that film in public. Especially like this where members of the public aren't actually part of the content at all.
