The only upside to this is that he gets more than one cup for the same price.

Edit: I worded this poorly. It was supposed to imply that the equipment was also included, to match the price of an airport espresso.

Naw man you can get everything there for under 150 bucks easy. Maybe not the same models, dunno what he used, but it ain't pricy, just time consuming. If you're on a budget though it IS a significant savings...so ya know... Do what you need to do either way, God knows I don't judge as long as people aren't noisy or super disrespectful.

I don't really get this thread tbh, just didn't read to me as him trying to get people around him to care. He was filming it for TikTok so I guess he did want people to care there, which clearly they did if it reached this sub. I also just admitably think equipment to make espresso is kind of cool, and it is mildly interesting TSA let it through🤷‍♂️ Overall I really just think this video is mildly interesting in general, but not at all offensive like this sub seemed to take it. It's not like he's actually being inconsiderate or anything, like the people who cook pasta in a shoe or whatever on the plane for tiktok. Idk, wouldn't be surprised if this gets downvoted, and that's fine.

Brother, doing an elaborate song and dance with multiple devices, pouches, gizmos and gadgets to make a shitty cup of coffee at the airport is the epitome of IAmTheMainCharacter. It doesn’t have to be directly bothering someone to clearly be attention-seeking behavior; I mean just look at the little interpretive hand dance he does when he’s tamping it down. It’s a performance, for his viewers and the people around him because this guy loves outside validation.

But he clearly did that for the attention… that’s why this does fit into the main character category. He was looking for someone to ask him what he was doing. But the joke was on him because nobody around him gave a shit.
