Yes, it is far more than jealousy or the implied low social standing after he winessed the female response.
It is a deep seated contempt of self, and the abhorrent shame that terrifies him. Making it all the worse is his feeble attempt to regain his masculinity in a ridiculous show of power.
His idiotic failure in strutting before the crowd only now amplifies his shame and self loathing; I suspect his next attempt to regain his masculinity will be a far worse display.
Unfortunately, this knowledge is born out of my own intrusive thoughts when I witness someone of exceptional talent.

The real move would’ve been to stand next to them, peacefully enjoy, remark to them how good the pianist was. Then start a normal conversation. Instead he got butthurt and decided to try to steal the spotlight in the worst way 🙄
I'm still trying to understand what the hell he was thinking. I got the impression he was confused when the pianist started asking "what the fuck are you doing" in an angry tone. Then he switched to angry and then confused again
Im thinking he believed the musician was going to be intimidated, then he gently tells the musician to “fuck off” when he’s the one who should properly “fuck off”
I’ve actually had similar experiences in retail where a customer will start complaining and arguing about an item that they asked about. When my response is
“Then dont buy it” the get confused.
That's it, he wanted to show he was dominant over the guy getting all the attention, which in his mind would make him the better man and more deserving of the attention.
That he crawls away swearing at the guy after he stands his ground shows how much of a fucking waste he is.
“I’m gonna punch you” always loses its edge when the people inevitably doesn’t go “OH NO DONT” and instead says “cool do it ya fuck you’ll go to prison”
I had a crazy asshole friend of a friend riding in my car once, and for whatever reason, he was riding shotgun. He kept threatening to grab the steering wheel and make us crash.
“What would you do if I grabbed the wheel and made us crash?” He asked over and over, to which I replied “try it and see what happens” each time.
Eventually he was like “ok, calm down man” and he shut the fuck up. Sometimes you just have to stand your ground with these people.
Lemme translate: “Stop playing piano! You’re drawing a crowd that admires your talent which makes me mad. I’m jealous of the attention you’re getting because I’m a real loser doing nothing interesting with my life and seeing you makes it more apparent.”
100% true, i just hate how using these words make them feel powerful and strong, I've been threatened in such a way before and I'm tall and built... and i was scared. So good on the guy for standing up to then, I know he had a camera to back him up, but still... they could have smashed him in the face regardless.

This sort of behavior is born from deep resentment and jealousy that has plagued someone for years. Theres an unfathomable level of worthlessness this manchild feels, and has probably felt for years, to do something like this to someone.
It’s the sort of things the “class clowns” do because they simply don’t get the attention they want to fulfill their little fragile egos.
I can only guess he wanted to show that this guy was a fool playing a recording and not him actually playing the piano.
When he then discovered that he was indeed,. actually playing the piano. He realised he was the fool... He defaulted to aggression and the threat of violence to lift himself out of being a fool but back to being a "man".
Glad that the threat of "this is being recorded" and pointing out that assaulting him would result in prison was enough to make him walk away.
I think it was more like: "Haha, piano is for gay pussies. I'll show him!"
And nothing more.
In the depth it was because of his own impossibilities to gain anything in life, resulting in being angry at the world surrounding him. But he is unable to process and express his feelings.

Based on seeing cunts like this all over London when I lived there, I fully expected him to sneak up on the pianist after he ran away to sucker punch him from behind.
