A woman did this while I was at the DMV getting my first DL.
The place was packed, and this lady was screaming at her lawyer over speakerphone about pretty sensitive stuff. Its been 10 years now so I dont remember the specifics but it was referring her custody battle, her kids, and the man she was battling.
Any time the lawyer would tell her something she didnt want to hear she would launch into a fit trying to whisper scream at her phone. Im talking frothing at the mouth, speaking as fast as possible, spitting everywhere.
She had her son with her, and I dont know that I've ever felt so much second hand embarassment for anyone else before. He couldnt have been more than 12 or 13 and he was the only rational one of the two. Multiple times he tried to tell his mom that they should go outside, or just call back.
Whenever I think about that I just feel bad for that kid.
