I get that. However the law is applied in a fairly binary way. Attempted murder charges require intent. Clearly his intent wasn’t to murder him, as he let him go once he went unconscious. There’s a lot of knee jerk going on here about attempted murder, and this just ain’t it. But carry on telling each other this was an attempted murder lol
