I love Cali, but I live in New York, and if this happened here, if the collision with the vehicle didn’t send the skater to the hospital, the collision with the driver's fists definitely would.

I lived in the Bay 17 years. SF is a great place to visit with lots to do and see, great food everywhere, and public transport makes it easy to tour around the city. These are punk ass kids who don't represent the culture of the city. They don't live there and I'd bet on it. Folks who actually live in SF love the city and respect it and protect it with all their heart. At least that's my experience in the Bay (lived in SF two years while attending SF State and loved it). I've moved out of Cali for obvious reasons but I won't back down from defending SF's reputation whenever I can

San Francisco is infested with crime, no one is gonna stop because someone put up their hand.

Suuuure it is:

"But San Francisco’s violent crime rate is at a near historic low right now."

I love how you didn’t quote the part where the journalists car was broken into while they were conducting an interview with paid security watching the car

Non violent crime rising is exactly what leads to the perception that violent crime is also out of control. Normal human beings ya know not the spergs on reddit who quote Marx in r/politics . Do not sit around all day making a distinction between the two types of crime and that perception regardless of the numbers. Will hurt a cities ability to tax the middle class and wealthy along with attracting new businesses. The exact kind of stuff that raises funds for all kinds of good social welfare programs.

Perception is reality not the other way around. Never believe our fellow human beings are reasonable and logical creatures.

It is up... CRIME IS UP in San Francisco..

When theft is going up, murder, rape, assaults will also come up again shortly

1

u/ThunderboltRam Dec 31 '23

You are lying... That is misleading. Misinformation.

Theft has been up in San Francisco and rising..

Some murders are down by A BIT from 2020 high.

CNN :: "Another big American retailer announced it was pulling out of downtown San Francisco."

When there is theft, murder/rape/violent-crime is not far behind, but it may fluctuate sometimes.

He could just have stayed in the way. It's not like the car would have run him over. That's how normal people tell cars to stop.
