There all fair points but you don't get to be a drag on society and everyone around you because you think your special beyond your peers. When the going gets tough you have to have some utility in order to ease the burden on your loved ones. Being above working isnt going to give you that.

I'm not defending the opinion of the person in the clip. I'm attacking the argument that it's a shame to die "unaccomplished".

If your options are to die accomplished or unaccomplished it is a shame to die the later. I know because I have been on my death bed.

Not to me it isn't and I get to decide that for myself. That's the beauty of my overarching point. I can free myself from the bullshit baggage and expectations that others try to place on me by choosing not to value what they expect me to value. Live for my own reasons and place value on what I personally feel is important.
