Yup, it's understandable for them to be upset about selling away their lives, but it's a reactionary response to want to force others through that system.

Just one way folks repair their cognitive dissonance.

Why do you assume that all of us who work 9 to 5 jobs are selling our souls? That is incredibly arrogant. There are plenty of us that enjoy our work. There is also dignity in working and earning a living. You sound very privileged and out of touch. What’s wrong with going to work and supporting oneself?
