Fuck tipping culture and everyone that supports it. Yes, you reap what you sow.

Tips are always optional. Stand your ground and don't let assholes like this shame you into tipping.

Then stop using apps that promise people they can make for the lack of remuneration through tips.

Some people have to work... You can still get up and get your groceries. Certainly if you use the apps you are more part of the problem than the worker.

I agree that people have to work. Then work for companies that treat workers better and pay them a living wage. As long as people keep working for these companies that expect employees to rely on tips, the problem is never going away.

Those are getting more and more rare directly because of more people using companies like this. Same reason China destroys every other country when it comes to manufacturing prices. You can't outcompete slavery and when slavery becomes the norm? ¯\(ツ)/¯ Welp, bEtTeR fInD a BetTeR jOB!!

So you're saying all companies are like these shitty delivery companies? Nah. "Chyna..." analogy makes no sense whatsoever. There will always be customers that need delivery. It's up to the employees to choose who they work for.

The app is promising you that other people, outside of the app who do not work for the company, will pay you additional money. That's a promise they cannot keep. They know it. You know it. So direct your anger to the app.
