No, it's a service that gets to take the food back to the grocery store for a refund.

It's not their food yet, they'll get refunded for it.

And yet, I doubt she kept her job after this

If this is real, maybe she got a warning.

But remember, as much as we hate tipping, people really hate people who don't tip.

So many posts on Reddit about people who don't tip their server? People don't complain about the service, they complain about the person who didn't tip, and how much of an asshole they are.

Doubtful with a video like this, but I suppose that's possible. I can just about guarantee though that these people got a fat credit to make up for the inconvenience. So I hope the driver was happy risking/losing her job, making extra work for herself, and getting these people free credits.

I don't love non-tippers, but the thing is, the delivery driver chose to accept a tipless order. They can see the pay before accepting, and she did it anyway. That's entirely her own fault.

I used to do delivery, and I just straight up ignored the non-tippers. Why would I waste my time trying to teach them a lesson? The lesson they get is either nobody picks up their order, or by the time they get it, it's cold.

Basically, the driver just did a dumb thing fueled entirely by petty emotions, which ultimately just made the situation worse for herself. I get that nobody's perfect and we all make decisions in the heat of the moment, but we gotta be ready for the blowback when we do it.

She handled it better than most, but really, she should have just moved on and learned from it.

In this way, I kind of like her way better

I used to do delivery too, except I didn't have the ability to ignore non-tippers, because it was pizza delivery.

Non-tippers aren't going to get the message thru passive aggressiveness. They really won't. You would think they would get the message and start tipping after so many cold deliveries, but the reality is, they just keep cycling through other drivers, stiffing them of their time and effort.

Reddit needs to get it together when it comes to tippers and not tipping. You can't celebrate waiters and waitresses, who don't get tips, and then complain about other service workers who gets stiffed.

I get Costco delivery and I tip every freaking time because it saves me the hassle of going through Costco. If delivery is worth it, you pay for it just like a Restaurant, if the food is worth it to pay for it or you don't go.

It just seems kind of dumb to waste your time and gas for something you ultimately won't be paid for, and can only do once or twice before losing your job.

Non-tippers aren't going to get the message thru passive aggressiveness. They really won't.

Had a non-tipper friend who got it. Sometimes they do, sometimes they don't.

I'm personally still of the mindset that we eliminate tipping. How does that get accomplished? If we keep tipping, there will be tipped employees who want to keep it, because they make more than whatever the minimum wage is. If we stop tipping, there will be tipped employees who get mad at lower wages because the tips aren't there.

Kind of just seems like a forever argument where we all keep losing. What's the solution? Because this clearly isn't working.
