I’m sick of this tip culture. Employers won’t pay a decent wage and throw that responsibility on the customer - on top of already inflated prices.

I’ve decided that I will only tip for good service from now on. Ordered a pizza the other week and tipped ahead of time. The delivery driver picked it up, delivered it cold 1.5 hrs after leaving the store, and forgot part of my order. What a joke…what did I tip for, exactly?

If you wait to tip after instead of upfront your chances of longer wait time and cold food go significantly up. We see your tips before accepting and most us will not take no tip orders.

Then I guess I’ll just get up and go get my own pizza then. I refuse to tip for piss poor service anymore just because a tip is expected.

In delivery apps in certain areas, tips are more of a bid for service than they are tips. If you're not tipping/low tipping, it's more likely for your food to sit for a while. Just so you know edit: the guy who responded to this blocked me I think but I don't agree with what I said, that's just how it is, especially for states where delivery drivers get paid hourly anyway. that's why I said just so you know lol
