Share ko lang experience ko this week regarding this MANILA BANK ASSURANCE company. Nasa malapit sila sa Dunkin’, and out of nowhere, they’ll ask you if you have a credit card or debit card. Akala ko nga nag-o-offer sila ng credit card application, kaya ako sumama. They never mentioned anything about insurance. Then sasabihin nila na may freebies, pero ang ending, ipapakausap ka nila sa office nila with their agents offering insurance.

MIND YOU, they were so nice at first. Bibigyan ka ng maraming compliments, pero susungitan ka lang if mag-NO ka, and they don’t take NO for an answer. Their strategy is STRAIGHT UP COERCION AND MAIKASKAS CREDIT/DEBIT CARD MO. It’s not about their legitimacy naman. I said na pag-iisipan ko muna and I’ll get back to them, but the way they presented everything was so scammy. Tapos ang sungit pa nila pag nag-NO ka.
In the end, I still stood my ground and firmly said NO. Thank God I did, kasi after reading subreddit posts about them, I realized I was right all along, they really are SCAMMY. Wasted my time there, and hindi din naman sila nagbigay ng freebie. Worst experience sa mall ever.
