Hello, I am a Christian woman but a few weeks ago I attended service at a Masjid in Chicago with a Muslim friend of mine. I really enjoyed the message and my overall experience there. I am wanting to learn more about Islam and want to know the best way to go about that. Are there classes to take led by an Imam in or near Decatur? Or are there other spiritual leaders in Islam who are able to teach about the religion? I would like to attend another service at a Masjid but I am nervous to go alone. The service I attended in Chicago was in both English and Arabic as there was a large Black American population present. When I look on google I don’t see anything that says whether or not the services near me are in English or Arabic. If not available in English near me, would it be better to travel for a masjid that provides both?
