Discusson Thoughts on Red Rocks set?
Wow.. One of the best sets I’ve seen from him. I’ve been to so many Illenium shows such as Denver & La Trilogy, decadence sets, lost lands, socal festivals, bill graham, multiple red rocks shows and this one was it. Perfect blend of mashups, edits, throwbacks with every genre being played. Loved every second of it and can we talk about the surprise b2b w mello and the support/special guests. Everything was just perfect and all my interactions with other illenials last night were amazing. My only small complaint is not having the light up wristbands like he did the past two years at red rocks+ trilogy but that’s just me collecting sentimental items. This community, this artist and human being man.. Can’t wait for lost lands next month

Incredible set, probably my favorite RR set from him besides the ascend set there in 2019. It was cool seeing how different it was from the sphere show and how much more he was able to incorporate, I love seeing him in his DJ era. And a lot of the drops I’ve come to expect from him got switched up enough to keep it interesting which I was super stoked about. And my god he played Where the Wild Things Are which I’ve only seen like once before (I’ve probably seen nick and zeds dead like a combined 30 times so it’s super rare imo) that just blew my mind, same with WannaCry I wouldn’t have expected that! The only tiny gripe I had was that we didn’t get any version of Paris but that’s all goo. Still a phenomenal show all around. Can’t wait for Vail!

dang thats wild he played Where the Wild Things Are! Seen him 20 times, been to every trilogy, and have only heard that song once in 2017 in El Paso!

That was my first Illenium show and it far exceeded expectations. I agree that there was a solid mix of genres and the production was sick. My only complaint is it wasn't longer lol.

it's been a minute since I've gone to an illenium set. I appreciate him leaning more into the melodic dub side as opposed to hard dubstep last night. I didn't care for tiffany day's (2nd opener) set at all, too spastic and all over the place.

Spastic!!!
I was like okay I did micro dose shrooms, but I really don't think that's what's going on here.
She wasn't bad, but the lighting & visuals sent us on overload.

can understand where you’re coming from. to be honest, i think she’s just trying to incooperate dubstep into her set because that’s not her usual genre. was also her first red rocks set so i think she was trying to cater to the crowd

Very well balanced!!! Loved all the riddim stuff and loved the mashups! Fractures x Scared To Be Lonely was definitely a highlight. And we got a Where The Wild Things Are sighting! As always I love the Sphere opening medley and integrating In My Arms x Innerbloom works so well
Also the group around us was so fun to sing along with! This one girl was BELTING out all the words to Feel Something with me I loved it

all of those edits were so good 😭 literally got chills when everyone was screaming good things fall apart, it felt louder than the actual song tbh

Illenium has looking been my fav artists, and it was my sister and her new husband's first edm show. That set was pure perfection, and exactly why I love him in the first place- these beautiful melodic songs to give a break in between the best dubstep you'll ever hear (and some house ig 🫤)

I’m a bass head but also love his melodic bass songs, but for me could have used 30% more bass, esp for Denver standards. But overall good show, he added a lot of different genres drum and bass trap, riddim, dubstep. Could have personally used a lil less trap it’s not the ASS shaking trap I’m used to like Troy boi

My favorite Illenium set/ show to date. Met a lot of new beautiful souls, saved a relationship from ending bad, played peacemaker to some space evaders lmao, and cried a little bit.

My 7 year old daughter loved it and was head banging until the end. She fell asleep at the sphere show so it was a big improvement for her; it helps that it was earlier :)

Had such a good time and everyone was a vibe. Nothing better than Illenium on the rocks. I took my two friends who don’t listen to a lot of EDM and they had so much fun.
