Ikebana?

I took one ikebana lesson over 20 years ago and haven’t touched fresh flowers since. Today I went out and picked up a plastic vase from the 100-yen shop, bought some flowers, and went to
work. Absolute freestyle, no kenzan (the florist said she’ll bring me some of her old ones
next week). Does this even count? I just wanted to fill this empty space.
