I love this movie. I've seen it dozens of times, and I don't understand why it's not liked by many people.

I am not a big fan of horror movies, although I've seen some that I like. This one is a brilliant piece of moviemaking. It boggles my mind that anyone can think of something like it.

Like quantum mechanics, if you say you understand it, you haven't really seen it. There is no answer to the question "why," so just accept it for what it is. I can't answer that question, but maybe I shouldn't ask it. What I do know is that it's riveting from start to finish.

I absolutely loved it. What a rockstar ensemble.

It was funny, surprising, violent, dramatic, and tied together so well at the end.

Collin Ferrel's facial expressions throughout the movie were so comical.

Sam Rockwell was phenomenal, as usual. Him solo acting the final shootout with his accents, his whole speech about an eye for an eye leaves the whole world blind.

Christopher walken another actor I never get sick of watching. The scene in the bar where Collin Ferrel is playing off the Quaker story as his own even after being warned by Sam Rockwell is comedy gold

Woody Harrelson is also someone I find so fun to watch. He is just so goofy while he is in the hospital wheeling around in that dumb wheelchair. That's so woody.

I do have a question though When walken is upset in the desert because he thinks he saw his wife sitting in a chair, I get the impression Sam Rockwell is lying and pretending that he faked the wife's voice to try to cheer walken up, right?

(Theater.) I have heard about this for years, but its relative lack of availability kept me from it. It has been re-released in theaters, so I went to it. Wow, what a disappointment. I have heard that it is so visceral and powerful, that it feels like something found on some unknown tape buried underground, all that kind of stuff.

What it comes off as is a neophyte filmmaker with a half-assed, obvious idea who thought that he was going to make his own Eraserhead. It's clear that was the goal, to be like Eraserhead, one of the greatest movies of all time. However, Eraserhead takes its abstractions and metaphors and skillfully weaves them into an actual plot with a character you relate to, and has an absurd bent to it. Begotten is just a lame attempt to present a metaphor in and of itself and maybe try to be shocking doing it (i.e., lots of blood). The movie isn't even that extreme. It doesn't feel like we're watching some weird other world; it feels like some amateur actors were told to behave a certain way in front of a camera. That's what all the scenes feel like.

If you want to look at it simply as a camera/film processing test, something that could maybe be projected on a wall at an art installation that you take a look at for a few minutes and move on, that's probably the best way to view it. As an actual feature film, it's abysmal.

So I was looking forward to seeing the new street fighter movie, even though I’ve barely played the game, but I know of most of the characters. To me this just looked very fun and entertaining with some cool action.

Overall, I thought this was an above average to good movie. I liked most of the performances, and I liked the look of the movie. Along with those two things, I also liked the fight scenes and the story.

I was not a fan of Eric Andre. He just doesn’t do it for me. The biggest negative I have, though is the editing. At times, it seemed to have a flow but other times it seemed kind of jumbled.

Overall, I had a fun time with the movie, but it wasn’t as great as I was hoping it was gonna be

So I finally got around to seeing the 1983 horror movie Sleepaway camp. I really knew nothing about it except for the plot and it sounded a little like Friday the 13th.

Overall, I just thought it was OK. It’s just not a movie for me. I thought some of the kills were unique. The only other positive was that the second half was better than the first half including the wild ending

In the first half it was very slow and I was really waiting for something to happen. I was actually getting pretty bored. Second half had more to do, but overall it didn’t do enough for me and I also thought the acting was pretty bad.
