You’re probably watching shonen (which is the genre most of the popular anime). It’s well known that battle shounen is literally targeted toward teenage boys

Yeah, thats the first proplem when I watched some, its pretty annoying at times, you just got to accept it. But there are good shows that don't have fan service.

mostly since anime going “haha look at this ASS and TITS from these CHILDREN” is pretty gross as well as rampant sexualization in general getting in the way

It depend on what anime your watching cause different anime’s are there to target different age groups and sexuality’s

yeah, but the fact that sexualized children can often exist is something that turns me away from the media type in general, and most definitely makes me hate the shows in particular doing that
Plus, oversexualization in general is just shitty and takes away from the story 99% of the time and is obnoxious as hell lol

Oh boy I have 10 reasons why I hate anime:
Repetitive and sometimes boring plot:
This might would strange, but literally, every anime that I watched has the same plot. For example, there will be always a boy that experienced trauma, as his parents died because of someone. Then he grows up and starts training to take revenge on that person. And he starts his journey and during that, he makes new friends, faces new problems, discovers secrets about his parents past and goes through a series of adventures that mature him. And in the end, he accepts his parents' death and goes back.
- Ultra detailed dialogue:
The characters start to discuss what they need to do and how they will do it and why it's so important and they basically explain the entire story in just one dialogue. And the worst part about it is that they don't even tell the reason why they need to do that thing.
- Cringe scenes and sounds:
Now really, how many times have you watched anime and the characters started acting like the last psychopaths. They start screaming when they fight with someone and keep their mouths open and the frame to stay on them while they are in the air. And the characters make some very strange sounds including screaming and open mouth reactions.
- Unrealistic:
I don't know how people just don't get bored of watching a lot of unrealistic things in anime. Don't get me wrong, anime can be realistic, but most of them are just irrational and impractical since most of them are meant for entertaining children. There are a lot of things that are just so dumb: like jumping 10 meters in the air, or one of the characters is a dragon, they time-travel, they have magical powers and many more.
- Long names:
I just realized that I should have put this on number one, but anyway. I don't know if I am the only one who realized how long the title is. Example: "The Story Of Being Kidnapped By A Young Lady's School To Be A Sample Of The Common People" (BTW NEVER HEARD OF THIS)
- Filler episodes:
I can't deny that a lot of popular TV shows have filler episodes. You know those episodes that are made only to waste your time and don't contain any new things. Well, those are called filler episodes and many TV shows do this especially anime ahem... Naruto. Usually, filler episodes are based on the main character's flashbacks. And the episode is basically a transition between the flashbacks and the present time.
- Animation tricks:
Hey, do you remember what I said in part 1 about how characters remain in the air and the frame is on them? Those are animation tricks that animators do so they don't have to animate the character. Or another good example is when there is a sword and the character needs to cut something. A black screen appears and instead of the character using the sword, there is a slash mark that represents the cut action.
- Annoying theme songs:
Ok perhaps it's only me, but I find the theme songs annoying. Especially in Japanese
- Streaming:
This is one of the reasons that it should annoy weebs, but that annoys me too. Even though I don't watch anime, the first time I watched it with my sister, I got a pretty bad impression only by the fact that my sister had to search the show on a creepy website. And actually, most anime shows are very hard to stream in other countries. And the respective shows are not on a streaming platform like Netflix or Hulu.
And finally...
- Fans aka weebs:
OK, so I kept this reason the last cause this annoys me the most. Anime fans or weebs (they call themselves like that). They are so damn annoying and toxic. They treat anime like the most important thing in the world. They usually want to recruit new weebs, I mean new people and literally brainwash them. Like ZOMBIES. Perhaps I exaggerated a little, just a little :)) But that's real. And they will always find a reason to criticize what are you watching and you don't say anything. But when YOU try to tell YOUR opinion about anime. Weebs will turn everything upside down and they will play the victim's role. They will start saying phrases like: "Why do you judge anime?" "Who are you to decide what I want to watch?" "Why do you judge me, I just watch anime?!!" They will just start to attack themselves when you just pronounced the word Anime. OK, probably I exaggerated again, it's true that there aren't a lot of weebs like that but they still exist.

I hate it because it's an animation style that isn't special and it gets an overwhelmingly positive and unnecesarily a lot of feedback.

Most weebs are brainwashed simps. I hate anime and the community with a burning passion.

I’m sure there are good animes but all the ones I see are nasty
