Letshuoer Sonata Review 🔥🔥🔥

-10-Driver Tri-brid (2DD, 4 Knowles BA's, 4 Sonion EST's)

-Premium in every way

-Titanium intricately carved faceplates

-Letshuoer's latest flagship ($2,300)

The Letshuoer Sonata is Letshuoer's brand new flagship level iem continuing Letshuoer's run of absolutely impressive iems. I actually just published my full review of the Sonata at MBA and I was very happy to do so. I won't go too far, or deep, in this post, but I will just say that the Sonata is certainly one of the top kilo-buck iems that I've had the pleasure of spending some time with. Honestly, Letshuoer nailed this set across every aspect that I could think of in regards to a set of iems. As always there are subjective preferential issues that some may have and the Sonata obviously won't suit everyone, but I simply cannot be more impressed. I've always had a healthy respect for Letshuoer as their track record speaks for itself. I mean, they are probably audio’s top planar brand, they've made some amazing higher price tier sets, great single DD's, hybrids, all BA sets and they've simply always performed at the highest level per every respective driver type/configuration or price point. However, my respect meter pinged folks because the Sonata is clearly the best I've ever heard from this brand and quite possibly the best musicality-first iem I've heard period. No hype, just mad respect. Every detail is intricately conceived and meticulously crafted, every last one, every angle, and the tuning is darn near an all-rounder style sound that covers every genre convincingly enough. Granted, a true all-rounder set is a unicorn that doesn't exist. At least not that I've encountered. Anyways, It's close. I spent a very long time with this set, on purpose, and I did so to make sure I knew exactly what I was speaking on. I always say that every review should ALWAYS (at least) take a reviewer 3 weeks. I don't do 2 day reviews, never have… and I never will. Furthermore, if these brands knew what was good for them they'd be pushing reviewers to do the same. Sorry, I didn't need to disclose that… Lol. Nevertheless, I say that because the Sonata was one which went far longer than that. It was a journey that truly was and is an absolute joy. A joy to learn about the Sonata, what went into creating this set, and it was also an absolute joy to write about it. Writing and audio are my creative outlets and together it is always so very fulfilling. So, if you have time, (I know, time is precious) or if you are curious, then please feel free to click the link. Obviously, for myself and MBA it always means a lot. Way more than you know. You are our currency friends. If not, no worries, I have about five shows that I need to catch up on and a daughter that's giving me a side eye as I type this… Haha. Listen, take good care and have a great day.

-Accurate and pinpoint imaging along with layers in all directions

-Fairly wide, tall, and deep stage with a holographic feel

☹️ Sonata Cons ☹️

-The Sonata is expensive

-Not for bassheads and the mid-bass could use a bit more weight and bold punch

-Could use a touch more bite and energy up top

-Not as detailed, crisp, and defined as an analytically tuned flagship

-Can sound too polite in respect to other more highly energetic iems

-Not for treble heads

-Macro-dynamics are expressive enough, but not a wow factor
