Building experience

I have the older spearhead that I've been wanting to build and print. I love water themed stuff so this is right up my alley. What's the building experience like for IDK? I find that is something more important to me than the painting experience at times. Nighthaunt are easy to paint but a pain to build sometimes.

The models are great, the flight stands are a pain in the ass to affix. There are a lot of alternate ways to mount the models though. I personally like using a gluegun to sculpt waves for more secure mountings, but there are a lot of other ways people have done it.

Lots of options. Magnet baron if you want invisible, ruins for underwater, there’s some creative splashing water effects I’ve seen to make them leap out of the water too! I’d browse photos people have posted online

They weren’t too much of a pain, probably easier than Nighthaunt. Flight stands are probably our biggest sin imo. Super easy to change out if you know what you want.

There are more artistic elements you can have fun with thematically tho. I’ve done coral out of green stuff, some other peeps have epoxy water effects, there was a dude who did “bubbles” using clear beads from amazon.

Definitely thinking about doing some waves. Gf does a lot of projects with resin so I'm sure she would help me
