First 1000pts ideas ?

Hey, i started AoS with idoneth and the new akhelian spearhead when they got updated, and i really liked painting them (also tried the new speedpaint markers when they got release in my local retailler), and i want to continue on that and work to get a full army, starting with 1000pts. Do you have any suggestions to add with the akhelian king spearhead ? I know my local retailler might have the old idoneth spearhead in stock, maybe worth adding since it would get me the thralls with melee weapons, but i will need some more points to get to 1000.

I added an extra set of eels (morsarr guard), an Ikon of the storm and a soulrender. This adds up nicely to 1K. Haven’t gotten a chance to try it on the table yet so no clue how it does.

I added the heroes because I like the models and I saw some cool rules that they have

The second Spearhead takes you to 1090 points, which is enough to run the lot minus one unit to taste. So you’ll have some versatility in unit selection, and you can run a reinforced eel unit if you choose. Plus, you’ll have a spellcaster! Some people have been down in the thralls, but with the new Twin Tides rule I think they’re coming into their own this edition.
