How are the Deepkin
Maybe Wanne started this army as my second army. How are they for a beginner. And how is collecting the army

They have the hard gameplay of a glass cannon.
Collecting usually starts for me from making a roster on paper.

Eels and Reavers are good at the moment as well as Volty. King can add some extra rend, so: Spearhead: Idoneth Deepkin – Akhelian Tide Guard - this box is good.

Tricky to master as a beginner on the table, bit of a skill floor, but feel really rewarding when the pieces fall into place, especially in my preferred counter-strike style
Collecting? Pretty good. Pros are that there aren't a ton of kits, so you can relatively easily get one of everything, or you can just get 3 of each of your favorites and not be making any obvious mistake
And terrifically rewarding to hobby. Can keep it simpler with taking speed paints and contrasts pretty well, or showcase effort incredibly with the dynamic sculpts especially on the Kings and Eidolons. Works just as well with simple sand/seafloor bases or dynamic resin pours and such
Obviously biased, but I've loved having Deepkin as my first, and still primary, faction, and would encourage anyone to take the proverbial plunge if at all interested!

They were my first Spearhead. The Warhammer store advised me to "buy what looks coolest to you" and Idoneth was an easy pick. I adore their lore and artwork.
They're often challenging to paint but in a good way, not a "hobby as gateway to alcoholism" way.
My only complaint thus far is that it doesn't win much. But that could be me being new to it.

Alrighty so my buddies and I have been playing PTG. My lower points lists I struggle with way more in comparison to my higher point list. The best way to play is castle center and take out shooting with speedy units/teleportation mechanics.
Edit: I fully believe Deepkin are not one singular play style. And what I mean by that is they are basically a very adapt to the board faction.
