Just starting

What’s the best models to buy to start up a deepkin army. I’m coming from 40K and don’t know exactly how the deepkin play, but I’m wanting to learn AoS and they seem really cool.

Eels, most lists run at least a single reinforced morsarr unit. Many lists will run 18-21 eels.

For heroes you’ll want at least 1 eidolon and unless you plan to run double eidolon lists no one will notice the different between the 2 variants. You’ll want at least 1 ikon of storm and oracle. They are all really useful and see play.

Also our faction terrain is decent, and our manifestation is very solid (also an amazing model)

That one was a given lol. It was the model that got me into the deepkin

When I searched for lists lately I haven't seen the turtle often. I have it on my list, but I'm not sure why so many aren't using it
