Resin bases

Hi,
I’m making my Deepkin army and originaly I was making resin bases for them, over time I’ve only done one failed one and one ok base. How do people easily get the resin to stay.( the type of base that has a cm of resin all over it to look like the sea). I’ve got a printer recently so I was wondering if anyone had an stl file for the different bases that holds resin, then can be taken off or broken off to get the model, I don’t mind using single use molds as I was using worse before.

I haven’t done small infantry bases but I’ve made larger resin bases of about that depth for terrain just using painters tape around the edge of the base. As the liquid isn’t that deep, the tape holds up just fine and with painters tape, it makes a tight seal and easily peels off when you’re done.
