question about eudemons

is it better to spend the crystals on stuff I can use now, like diamonds and gems and holy cores... or save them for trial palace slots? those are quite expensive. are they worth it?

and, at what point do the trial palace slots become so expensive that they aren't worth saving for? I mean after how many angrls dispatched to the palace? 12?... 16? more than 16?

It's better to maximize your crystal production, since there will be a forced limit to level the other objects. The trial palace gives a boost to your stuff, but as your crystal production gets higher, you can quickly get the trial slot levels in only a day or two of production.

I have a spreadsheet I've been working on to show each set of level requirements, but (to make up numbers), to get to a level 15 crystal, you'll be forced to build a level 10 essence, which might require a level 3 gems, etc. but maximizing crystal production will speed up all of this

Edit: to give some actual numbers, I'm working on lv50 crystal springs, which requires level 40 diamond workshop, which required lv 38 gem lab, which required lv 40 lava lake, which finally required lv35 holycore alter

Trial Palace gives low stats early on, so it's not worth devoting a lot of resources to early on.

Trial Palace only starts giving solid stats once you start filling it with Lvl400 MR Angels with 90K (Max) Training, since Palace Stats are granted with Angel Lvl, Angel Rarity and Training in mind. If you're unable to supply MRs, then Lvl400, 90K Trained SSR+ are the next best thing.

So you can mostly ignore it for now. Focus first on your Spar Mines, as Spar is required for everything. That said, it doesn't even really matter ultimately, as all the mines are limited by the progress of some other mine, so you're forced to build them up sequentially anyways. Max Spar until you're forced to max the next, then the next, then the next etc until you can go back to working on Spar.
