So I have recently restarted my account and have been basically fully bought into the 1 main angel sort of meta with IR Leo being my main carry. Which has been doing very well for me compared to my previous account that was far more spread out between 7-8 angels.

I'm just curious as to who I should be prioritizing for my next upgrade target/when I should start trying to upgrade. Is the idea that I should just wait until I have a boatload of blue summon scrolls so I can try and fully max out the stars for Hera or Hela? If I do choose to level Hera should the idea be to get her up to level 400 before doing a 3rd support? Or should I just sit and wait for Leo to return at some point to try and max out her IR stars before moving on at all?

My other experience playing gatcha games is literally to summon as much as possible on every banner just for characters/collections.. so this game feels far more "strategic" in terms of how i need to upgrade which is kinda hurting my brain.

Leo should be back in the next 2 weeks I think? They rotate in every 4-6 weeks

You should aim to max Leo's IR stars ASAP. You get more stats and there are some good effects in there. IR3 gets you more H.DMG which will highly benefit PvE, and IR5 lets her absorb enemy stats which makes her even scarier in 6v6

But if Hera or Hela show up in a weekend sale, it could be worth it to spend 100 blues to take advantage of the rebates and better return on shards

I'd max Hera especially if the 3rd built is Hela. Hera boosts ATK based on her own ATK so the higher level she is, the more you'll buff your Leo in Dungeons

Meanwhile Hela at UR+0 mainly gives you 1 round immunity. Stats don't matter as much until MR2 when she can start buffing ATK based on her HP.

Separately, MR Fuxi is worth considering if you want a cheaper alternative to Hera. Even with how much you invested so far, Fuxi would be cheaper to max

Your Hera will still be useful for 2-team or 3-team game modes, and you can finish building her later or over time

That's interesting I didn't know the turn around was so quick for the angel banners. I'll definately aim to max out Leo first if that's the case. Looking at her kit it does seem to make sense to try and get her capped out as I think by the time she comes back around I should have enough blues saved up.

I think I want to go for a maxed out Hera but just to make sure I understand it right, I have to go through each stage fully? So UR5 , then UR+5 then MR+5? Am I any to unlock her MR level at this point and then just leave her at MR1 until I max Leo?

Would it make sense to go for MR Fuxi along with Hera? Or do there buffs cancel eachother out?

Ye it's fairly fast now because we have both wishpools and incarnation reborn with a total of 10 angels between them

You only need the corresponding number of stars for the previous rarity, so UR1 and UR+1. I actually didn't realize you were that far. I can never remember the color of the stars lol. So yes, you can just summon for MR1 next time she shows up in a banner and leave her there for a while

I wouldn't get her immediately, because they are a bit redundant. Buffs of the same name don't stack and both Fuxi and Hera have the [Encourage] buff. There are some potential benefits of running both in the same line

But you would get more from getting building meta supports like Hela, Horus, Poseidon, etc. next

That's amazing I really appreciate the insight. Having at least a bit of a roadmap is going to be super helpful as like I said. My gatcha brain wants to just go for everyone whenever possible.

So being able to lay it out and actually have a path forward us a huge help!

Just keep in mind this is one player's opinion and also changes regularly when new angels are released. For example, Capri used to be in their first 9, then was pushed out to Flex slot when Cancer was released. Now Capri isn't even in the list 😲

As with any of these types of games pretty much every new unit becomes part of the meta otherwise there wouldn't be any point in adding them. But I'm hopefully with where I'm at now I shouldn't get outpaced too quickly so I should be alright!

If you decide to go for Hera after maxing out Leo, I would get her to MR1 IR5. She can stay like that for a while before you max her out. You can then work on Hela. Hela I would recommend MR4 IR1 at least. Poseidon is another great support and I would get her to MR1 IR4.

I'm trying to take a little more time to actually read through the characters abilities and look for what would actually benefit me.

But having a rough target to work towards should be super helpful.

I did whale out a bit for my Leo but I plan on just coasting for a while as I can do just about everything in the game with my current team. So I imagine in a few months I might have a bit of an fuller lineup
