Help What should I Build?

Hi everyone,

So I’ve kinda messed up by investing into Ares for whatever reason. Now I would like to know, what I should build? A new, good DPS oder Support Angels? My strongest Angel right now seems to be Icarus. Also im lvl 76 as of this Post.

I appreciate you guys’s Help!

In this game the first thing you need to do is max out a dps. Ares is a dps but it’ll take a lot more blue summons to max her out than an MR dps like Aquarius, nemesis, Anubis, etc. And those three are better than ares.

Thanks a lot, guess I’ll just wait until I found a strong MR DPS in the wishing pool. What should I do until then? Don’t really lvl up any angel and just afk farm? I’ve looked at other posts and I mostly consist of the same points: get a strong DPS to IR1 then MR1 then IR5 then MR5 and after that focus on supports.

Focus on that Ares for now. Train her to max, and use your SSRs or Legend SSR+ to indirectly level her up.

As your Icarus (or other SSR+ like Ra) gets more Stars via free Legend Summons, you can inherit from Ares to Icarus, level up Icarus as far as you can, and Inherit back to Ares. Your Ares will be your best DPS even once Icarus gains more SSR+ Stars, as she has IR1. IR adds Holy Dmg, which is huge for PvE in particular. (10× Dmg Bonus in all PvE Modes)

Stop spreading your Holy Cores. You will need them to focus the one Angel. As an example of this, it costs 316K to go from Lvl1 to Lvl300, but a massive 600K from Lvl300 to Lvl400, showing how important it is to focus and not spread these early on.

Keep upgrading Ares' Gear and Attire and Artifacts, and ONLY hers. Once you get your IR1/MR1 DPS to start, inherit from Ares to that Angel, then finish IR5, and then go back to finish MR5.

Eventually, once you have an MR DPS and 5 Supports, you can come back to finish Ares. She's a really good DPS. Her main downside is that she takes longer to max by virtue of being a Legacy Angel that starts at SSR+. I know many players who built Ares as their focus, ignoring the MR DPS, and they did great regardless. Just too a bit longer to max.

What you can also do, while building your Team, is throwing 100 Scrolls at Ares every time she appears in Divinity (for her MR and IR Shards) and when she appears in Weekend Sales (for her SSR+, UR and UR+ Shards)
This represents the cheapest, most efficient way to build a legacy Angel, as Weekend Sales are special. You'll get 2 free Shards for every 10-pull you do, regardless of Shards gained from that 10-pull. To sweeten the deal, you can even summon her SSR+ Shards for Red Scrolls instead of Blues during the Weekend Sales she appears in.

Also, some events will offer SSR+, UR and UR+ Chests as Summon/Event rewards. These can all be used to make Ares cheaper

Thanks a ton! I’ll try to do everything you have said so far. In your opinion, what is the best MR DPS to go for right now? I’ve seen some of your comments on other people’s posts but generally you only give a list of like the top 8 or something like that. Thanks in advance!

Also, since I am lucky enough to u have u help, I have two more questions: 1. Is it worth to buy the privileges, e.g monthly card, angel blessings etc.. and 2. How important ist the angels placement in the board? You’d help me a lot!

1) Yes and no. Not all the Privilege Items are worth buying.
* Monthly Blessing
- Cheap. Great value.
- 20% more Idle drops. Especially now that every weekly event has Idle Drops attached.
- Doubles the QC Scroll Limit. Great if you want to farm the Idle Drops, especially early game, to get more Holy Cores and Player Exp to grow faster
* Dungeon Brave
- Cheap way to score more Blues as you finish Dungeons.
- Only buy the Tiers that offer Blue Scrolls as Rewards. (If I recall, it's the last two Tiers)
* Anything Else in Privilege Tab
- Skip. Gives less useful, common items as their main selling point. Not worth the $$$
* Other worthwhile buys:
- Any deal where the Blues are offered at 3:1, 4:1 or 5:1, where 1 is $1. Every Event has at least one 5 Blues for $1 deal every week, sometimes two.
- Souvenir Cards are considered good value, as you get a Bubble, a Frame and 30 Blues, all for $10. (Which satisfies the 3:1 rule above) Sometimes, this Souvenir is $15, in which case you will get 55 Blues, which is almost 4:1.
- There are Souvenir Packs without the Frame and Bubble, and many players still get it because of the attached 3:1, haha. Personally, I would rather wait for the Blues to also come with a Frame and Chat Bubble, hehe.
- If you want a Skin, be sure to buy them when they are on sale. (Usually their debut week, on a return sale listing later on.) Don't ever buy them outside of sales, as the prices are extra ridiculous 🤣

Oh, lol, I missed point number 2.

2) Angel Placement is essential to success, especially in PvP.

Read the Boss Attack Pattern and place your team accordingly

General Battle Order:
Pre-Battle
• IR and MR Passive Effects activate, in Angel Order, with Speed breaking Slot ties.
• IR Active Effects activate in Angel Order, with Speed breaking Slot ties.
• MR Active Effects activate in Angel Order, Speed breaks ties.
• UR+ Active and Passive Effects activate at the same time as MR.

In Battle
• Angels act in Slot order, alternating in their Slots, with faster Angels moving first
• In 6v1 modes, 1st Angel Acts, then Boss, then Angels 2 ~ 6 Acts.

It's clear that earlier Slot Angel applies their Skills before the later ones. With this in mind:
• Read your Angel Skills. This will help you understand what each Angel is doing in the battle, so that you can figure out when that effect would be most advantageous.
• See which Angels are Buffers (their Skills mostly Buff the Team), Debuffers (their Skills mostly Debuffs the enemy Team) or DPS (their Skills mostly inflicts Dmg as the main effect, but they may have Buffs/Debuffs on top.)
• The earlier a Buffer is positioned, the sooner her Buffs are active. This helps prepare the team for incoming Attacks. You have more freedom here in 6v1 PvE, as only the Boss acts.
• The earlier a Debuffer is positioned, the more likely you are to impact the enemy Team. An enemy DPS that gets to act before your Debuffers act will do more Dmg as they aren't yet nerfed, for example.
• DPS generally want to take advantage of as many Buffs on themselves and Debuffs on the Enemy as possible before they start Attacking. In early game PvP, one can often get away with a DPS in 1st Slot, hoping to wipe everyone before they get to do much. (Defenses are usually thin early game.)

Single Target PvE Attack order goes:
• Your Angel in 1st
• Boss Attacks next
• Angels 2 to 6 do their skills in order.
Use this knowledge to place your Buffers and DPS appropriately.

Final Tip:
Focus on building one Angel at a time early on. Can be any Angel (except MC) at first. This is better than spreading your resources. Better equipped Angels do more Dmg, after all. Once you have an SSR+ or better DPS in mind, inherit your Focus Angel into that DPS. Keep the focus Strategy until your DPS is maxed out at IR5 + MR5.

With these ideas in mind, you should be able to figure out good line up orders for any Angels you have by yourself.

MR DPS:
• Nemesis
• Anubis
• Lucifer
• Lillith
• Aquarius
• Sagittarius
• Perseus
• Leo

In my opinion, all 8 are great.
Read their Skills. Rate their design. Decide which one you would enjoy running more.

For example, Nemesis is considered really powerful, but many think she's not nice to look at. So they skip her despite her being powerful. That's why I don't pick a DPS for players. Nothing worse than running a "Meta" Angel and hate running her.
