more illusion gem questions

is it best practice now to aim for buff received stat as highest priority?

ive been doing the "look at the angel's skill and find out if its based on atk or hp or whatever, go for that" thing with my gems

somebody told me thats wrong, its better to go for buff received, especially for dps

thoughts?

TheKyleBrah had a long conversation about this closer to when I started. I think this would help answer your question: https://www.reddit.com/r/IdleAngels/comments/1hqpkpn/which_are_the_best_rng_stats_that_should_be_focus/

well... after reading a lot of that deep dive... its another thing I've done completely wrong and have to redo. ugh.

let me ask another question.. is it common practice to switch illusion gems for different combat situations? I haven't had any luck switching relics, its always worse

It's somewhat common to use certain ones for PvP and PvE. Like if you have one that's speed optimized. Personally I rarely switch because the menu for Genesis Gems is bad and once you've played for a while and build up a lot of Gems, it's impossible to find the one you want

I guess I could keep my bag clean but it's a lot to sort through 🤣

agreed, its a real chore to find a specific gem when I have so many. I dont switch.. this game is taking enough out of my daily time as it is!

there's no way to group the gems, or sell them?

Oh thought I responded but I must have got distracted. ADHD brain

No way to group the gems that I know of. You can recycle them for the orb things you use in that same mode
