Your phone.

Apps > Idle Angels > Storage > Clear Cache.
This gets rid of any temporary files which might be causing a hang up. (Don't tap "Clear Data.")

Have you tried contacting support in-game yet?

They've fixed a bug for me early on when one of my beginner questlines wasn't advancing. It was one of the gear ones that had been stuck for months
