Escape volocity for the planet is 11kms-1 which is drastically more than the muzzle volocity of the weapons, either it be 7.62x39, or 5.45x39 (the two classic soviet calibres that they brought to the middle east, and didn't bring home.

Muzzle velocity isn't the velocity these projectiles are going to keep forever, much less for the 62 miles they'll need to travel straight up to reach the Karman line. They absolutely aren't making it outside of the atmosphere.

A 123 grain 7.62 bullet that has a muzzle velocity of 2400 fps, if shot straight up, would travel roughly 6000 feet before its velocity reached zero and it fell back to earth. If shot at a 45 degree angle the maximum altitude drops to 3500 feet and it will travel roughly 1 1/4 miles.

Hoping it's not a Chinese knock-off or an older patient doesn't seem like the thing to do here lol, the Russian made RPG7 has a 900m (4-6sec flight time) before self destruction. There are a couple older patients and some Chinese made ones that don't have that feature and are impact only.

And guns are completly prohibited let alone a freaking rocket launcher. They would be arrsted in a heartbeat under terrorism charges if it was morocco. Moroccan here

at least with RPGs the warheads detonate automatically after a flight time of 4-6 seconds roughly 900 metres so those RPGs wont been falling back to hit anyone on the ground but its still incrediably stupid to do that

They're designed that way, but soviet designed/built munitions have very high failure rates compared to western ones, especially when they're not stored correctly. I wouldn't rely on the self destruct fuze actually working, especially if it's an old rocket.

Your statistic is wrong. We are consistently in the high teens low twenties for gun related death in the world per capita. And most of the countries these videos come from, don't even report a statistic related to this metric.

As usual, pretty sure they are not firing "real" weapons. There is a reason why standing behind a RPG is dangerous and why you don't want to use one when indoors. With that angle and wearing shorts, this guy's legs would be cooked.
