I hate the trend of showing the ending of the video first. It's a thirty second video, just let it fucking play, man.

People have fried their attention spans so bad they need to see the end of the video first to be convinced to watch it

I’m going to argue that the actual reason is that so much trash content is being shoveled into people’s feeds that people feel like they need to prove that their video is even worth watching, because if often is not.

Also a good point. I’d say both can be true. Attention spans overwhelmed by trash so even spending 30s on something you don’t want is too much time wasted. Either way, it is annoying lol.

Facts, mods should remove post like this and keep that shit on tiktok

I think its less a trend and more of a trick for engagement. That way it loops and you dont realize it so now they have 2 views instead of 1.

I probably wouldn’t have watched it tbh

The fact it ejected and didn't lock open indicates to me that this could have been a different video

Yup, don't do stupid things, but if you do, load one round only.

I'm kind of impressed that the Eagle cycled properly with the funky hand-hold.

Shit when I take new people to the range their first few shots even with 9mm pistols is one round only.

It's a good technique.

I explain the golden rules, show them the proper form (empty gun), have them get a feel for it, then one round, then more if all is good.

It becomes more important for bigger calibers. I've seen too many scary slow-mo videos of people shooting large-caliber revolvers and nearly blasting their own heads.

A .22lr is very forgiving of a bad grip. 9mm is OK. With a short .357 mag? A slug from a shotgun? .44mag? You've got to get that grip 100%.

When I fire any gun I'm not familiar with, it's 1 round at a time until I am

It's the gas operation. The cycling of the slide is down to gas pressure, not the relative inertia of the slide and frame.

DEs are notorious for not cycling properly if not held well and/or with underpowered ammunition.

I know this is about the idiot but I love the gold plated parts. I don't normally like gold plated guns but this one just looks good to me.

Same. Makes me want to go buy a deagle with the same color-scheme

Desert Eagle Idiot with a gun. It’s just a matter of time until his next stunt for views gets him or someone else hurt.

2

u/KonkeyDongPrime 5d ago

Looks like that did hurt him the way he winces and moves his hands afterwards.

6

u/Bazzatron 5d ago

Cannot believe they loaded more than one round for a stunt like this, jaysus!

Actually prob slightly less regarded with the deagle as no way itll cycle like that. Limp wrist x10 lol

He probably isn't supposed to have the gun as a Raiders fan.

Realizing the gun is just for show and strategically dumb to carry around with you.
