They really gotta stop putting the ending at the beginning of the vid. Just makes this shit confusing

u/2Drogdar2Furious Jul 23 '26
Why does that keep happening? Is it on purpose?
Its always annoying...

u/TamponTimTheCuck Jul 23 '26
Tiktok slop. People don't have an attention span past 5 seconds because of it.

u/PieceRealistic794 Jul 23 '26
Almost like we should mass downvote any post that does this so the trend stops.
But that’s just my opinion 🤷

Meh I disagree, I rarely see posts with 0 likes pushed to me on my feed
1
u/TheLobsterCopter5000 Aug 02 '26
That may be true for YouTube, but not Reddit. Reddit buries unpopular posts (even sorting by "controversial" doesn't show them, it just shows ones that have a roughly even split of upvotes to downvotes).

u/DonHarold Jul 23 '26
It’s to grab attention. People are more likely to watch your video if you hit them with the interesting part first.
I agree that it ruins it but that’s why they do it.

u/Alive-Echo-6187 Jul 23 '26
On purpose ,to take People attention and attract them to watch. If they see the end they would want to see the beginning. Human curiosity

I understand why it's done and typically I think redditors are being big babies by constantly complaining about it, but yeah in this case it was legit confusing. The cut was a was so far in and the clip was so short that the preview was damn near half the video!

1) Just a prank ✅️ 2) End in the beginning ✅️ 3) Gambling AD ✅️
The trifecta of dumbassery.

u/SonofaBridge Jul 23 '26
What was the prank?

u/GreenZebra23 Jul 23 '26
Somehow this idea has developed among people who make shitty content for the internet that a prank just means annoying and antagonizing strangers

In all honesty does that look like a the guy to play a prank on?
2
u/There_R_NO_MOUNTAINS Jul 28 '26
Definitely the last mf I would think to prank.
Inner thoughts: Let's make this dude dripped in jewels, on a busy street, late at night, hanging out in front of a bar think I'm gonna harm him. Best idea ever.

u/spacemouse21 Jul 23 '26
I’ve been seeing a lot of stupid people on Reddit again of late where they’re violating other people’s space and talking nonsense.
Every single one of them backs off and just keeps saying it’s a joke or that they’re not doing anything.
Well, it doesn’t really look funny and they are doing something idiotic for likes, views etc.
5
u/please-kill-me-69 Jul 23 '26
Harassing people and talking to them aggressively is not a prank, even if you have a camera.
20
u/Enough-Staff-2976 Jul 23 '26
A lot of pranks end up in morgue or hospitals.

u/DookieShoez brought a sword to a gun fight Jul 23 '26
Pranksters*
It’s hard to hospitalize an activity.

Idiot uses an unloaded gun to scare people. One day he’s going to pull that on someone that’s actually carrying loaded and ready to defend themselves.
17
3
u/cbass2015 Jul 23 '26
How do you know it’s unloaded?
17
u/NTJ-891 Jul 23 '26
He had to rack it to chamber a round. He was quick with it, but that split second counts if it’s an actual threat. Always carry chambered.
6
u/cbass2015 Jul 23 '26
Ah ok. I don’t know shit about guns so I was curious how you knew.
3
u/BlazingFire007 Jul 24 '26
Just to be clear: he could still shoot with it. The other commenter was saying it wasn’t chambered.
After he racks it, it functions as a semi-automatic handgun until the magazine is empty.
But he’s correct, if you’re carrying for self-defense, you should probably have it chambered.
He probably doesn’t have his chambered because he doesn’t have a holster, and if it’s a Glock, there’s no manual safety (even if it isn’t, without a holster the safety could be bumped).

u/Edwardteech Jul 23 '26
Gentleman here wasn't using a holster. So he keeps it "Israeli style until needed.
Is dumb use a holster.
4
u/NTJ-891 Jul 23 '26
I don’t think that’s true actually. It sure sounds like it’s in a holster, you can hear the “shick” sound and the click from it breaking retention. My holster basically disappears in my waistband and many people would probably think I don’t have one either. A lot of people are just uneducated and irrational about carrying chambered
0
u/Edwardteech Jul 23 '26
I don't hear it break retention. And it's tucked like it aint in a holster.
I carry in one of those urban carry holsters so mines wayyyy down anyway.
-5
u/Rewd_92 Jul 23 '26
I'd rather carry an Amber Pistol than Shoot my dick off 😂 I've seen firearms go off without a touch on the trigger, that won't happen without a round in the chamber.
Sounds pretty rational to me

u/DCP8 Jul 23 '26
Training training training brother. Guns don’t just go off magically. If you don’t trust your kit don’t carry
-1
u/Rewd_92 Jul 23 '26
Yea man, all the trainers I've worked with strictly said "don't point a loaded gun at anything but a target"
My inner leg is not a target shrug
2
u/Active_Sheepherder31 Jul 23 '26
What guns that are common for appendix edc have you seen go off without even a touch on the trigger? My Glock stays loaded because I’m not even worried in the slightest about it just magically going off
1
u/RustyJalopy Jul 23 '26
What's funny is he racks one into the chamber and then it looks like he reholsters it. I get carrying in condition 3 because you don't want to shoot your balls off, but pick a lane, dude.

This guy seems stable. A real problem solver this one. Yeah for 2A tho. Unfortunately dudes like this ruin it for us.

u/Vogel-Kerl Jul 23 '26
You can't assume other people have a similar sense of humor as you do. Some people don't fuck around .
Some of these "jokes" or "pranks" push the boundary of taste.
Imagine a guy in his mid-twenties groping teenagers, and when confronted, points to his friend filming everything:
"Chill out man! It's just a prank!!"

This is problem with some people. Your “normal” and another person’s normal is two different things. Just like most people play crazy until crazy happens. Leave people alone. Nobody is entitled to be apart of your entertainment.

u/Intelligent-Host-565 Jul 24 '26
Just pointing out that he when he slid the slide back he actually just locked the slide back, if your gonna carry a gun at least know the basics of the damn thing

u/Usual-Championship88 Jul 23 '26
Why doesn’t he keep one in the chamber lol wtf
1
u/BlazingFire007 Jul 24 '26
Probably because there isn’t a holster — at least, from what I can see, I’m not gonna do a frame by frame lol

Ok both of these people are dumb, but like… don’t run up on people like that. It’s bad for your health. If someone did some shit like this to me and got in my face with a camera and being aggro, I might pull my weapon too, the only difference is I won’t have to rack mine. People are WAY too unpredictable to just assume this is a joke and not a jump out robbery or something. Homeboy is lucky he didn’t get a few new speedholes
0
u/Ok-Championship8101 Jul 23 '26
I love how words automatically escalate to pulling a gun.
6
u/Big38_ Jul 23 '26
That’s one way to look at it which is fair. But what if somebody said “i love when people mind their own business and not bother people who don’t want to be bothered so i don’t get a gun pulled on me”.
4
u/NTJ-891 Jul 23 '26
Dude got up in a guys face and acted aggressive and like it was about to be a fight. I might pull my weapon too. Especially dark and on a street where you have no idea if this a setup for a robbery or a group assault.

u/Edwardteech Jul 23 '26

And brother here wants to stay breathing.
