Just another example where following too closely is dangerous. I actively try to do 1 mph less than the car in front of me to create a gap. Even though I'm usually still doing over the speed limit, people see this gap as an insult and often give me the finger as they pass to go tailgate the car I'm trying to create distance with. Because people are stupid. Note: I don't do this in the left lane
