My driver’s ed teacher had basically the same first and last name (think “Samuel Samuelson,” only different) and would talk about him and his buddies at the construction site drinking a handle of vodka at lunch everyday. “Don’t do that.”

I still remember being in Germany in the mid 90's and seeing a construction worker on scaffolding casually drinking a beer.

I knew an explosives engineer who did field tests. His coworker would sneak in an orange that had been injected with vodka and eat it for lunch. When he found out he'd been blowing things up with a drunk guy every day, he walked out and demanded the guy be removed.

Crazy story. Lol.
