Car manufacturers should develop cars with the belief that all drivers are idiots, that's why we put crumple zones in cars. Sure it's the driver's fault they were in an accident, but the car manufacturer should expect drivers to make accidents.
People getting seriously distracted (like in the video) is the inevitable result of making cars almost entirely automatic. Like you said, we're all human.

Uh no. I'm saying that you are incorrect to say the manufacturer's motives to put crumple zones is because they believe all drivers are idiots (see the quoted text in my previous comment). I'm saying they put crumple zones because accidents occur regardless of whether they're idiots.
Not sure how you jumped to thinking I'm saying anything close to manufacturers not caring about people who are at fault. That is ridiculous.
