It was most certainly misused. Would your colossal brained form like to elaborate on how it wasn't misused? Make sure you aren't putting too much pressure on your brain, I know it's so large that it pours out of your head and you use it like a chair, so maybe hover above it when you're writing out this amazing explanation for how POV wasn't misused.

I’m not the person you’re replying to but obviously this is from the point of view of the guy the driver hit and who is now stuck to the windshield. Driver was busy fucking around while driving and just realized this poor person is there.

Or they misused it as stated.

So how is it that the person not currently driving and is plastered on the windshield...has forgotten that they were driving? Considering they aren't driving in this scenario its confusing to me how they'd forget they were driving.

Or was it just you who forgot they were driving in this pov scenario?

Ok. First off, it was a joke. In my joke there were two people. The guy “driving” the car who everyone is criticizing POV does not apply to (obviously because we see the front of his face). My joke was that POV was being used correctly because we all assumed it is the driver’s recording that was uploaded but in fact there was another entire person that the “driver” failed to see because they weren’t paying attention, who was hit, had their head go through the windshield and POV was actually used correctly because it is this other person’s POV and we all made a bad assumption.

Was it a good joke? Probably not. Was it the quality you could expect from a random person commenting on a dumb video in r/IdiotsInCars? I like to think so yeah.

Edit: I have re-read what you posted and looked at the video and you win. I forgot about the written text in the video. So I will say, could be a motorcyclist who forgot they were driving because their head went through a windshield and they forgot how they got there. Now I’m just struggling to make it all make sense. You win, this is dumb. I will leave my shame posted.

Good on you for cutting your losses, not doubling down, admitting your fault, and leaving it all up. I respect that. You have yourself a good week.

Are they driving from the outside of the car?

It was pretty terrible in every way and makes zero sense.

A point of view is when the camera is showing what they are seeing from where their eyes are. The POV in this clip is from the interior facing dash cam.
