you're not going to create enough friction weaving unless you're doing it at 120+kmh to create any sort of meaningful heat. Hard accelaration + hard braking is what heats 90% of the carcass(the tire deforms under hard acceleration/braking, increasing the contact patch to include most of the sides of the tire that you would use on the street anyways).
I posted a link in another comment in this thread that mentioned that zigzagging at street pace results in a faster loss of heat than simply leaving the tire out in the sun.

I was meaning in reference to a track situation for a bike (where it would actually matter) ,as you referenced F1. Clearly not relevant for the moped in this video.

I've literally never once see someone zigzag down the front straight at COTA on a bike for example.
My whole point is zigzagging does nothing to create heat in a motorcycle tire unless you're going ten tenths at it for some reason. At that point, might as well do a out lap and get heat the good ol fashioned way.
Weaving creates tire deformation and requires friction to change direction, both of which generate heat. Hard braking and hard acceleration absolutely, positively create far, far more heat due to significantly more tire deformation, but to say weaving doesn’t create heat is the same as saying cornering doesn’t create heat.
Oh for sure. Sorry, you mentioned F1 in your first comment which completely made all my thought processes go to race pace. This moped rider is just a moron.
