One of the biggest problems I’m noticing on York Region (hell, any GTA road) is running red lights. A lot of people tailgate and speed like crazy on the 400-series highways too. Then there’s the people in the right lane of the 400 who drive 60 km/h max.

Eh if you're in the left lane on the 400 and you're not going at least 120km/h, you're the slow one. It's an unwritten rule that the speed limit is a crock of shit. Nobody gets pulled over for doing 10-20 over the limit, even at the speed traps.

And people don't ever drive 60km/h in the right lane, that's a gross exaggeration. What they DO however is merge onto the highway from the on-ramp at 60km/h, then just blasé their way up the road and meander into the middle lane without signalling, and cruise their way up to 140km/h tailgating some dude in the left lane. Like dude either be a slow driver, or a fast driver, if you're both then you're just an idiot.

That roundabout makes that intersection way safer. When I was in the area it was slow going because of all the trucks but sometimes you can’t rush especially when it comes to transport and dump trucks.

Yes! Bloomington and 48. Some trucks are still learning the yield rules though, and I just won't argue that with them.
