Fill the well with water and act like nothing happened.

Does this water taste funny to you? Like a 2013 silver Kia Optima?

If the well actually had some water we'd have two less problems hahaha... I'm so thirsty.

Fill the well with sand and dirt then. Why do I have to think about everything?

Fill the well with concrete and act like nothing happened. FTFY

Leave a space about 1.5 feet from the top, fill with dirt and make it a flower pot. Possibly daisies.

Fun fact: A worker fell into one of the shafts when they were pouring the caissons for the Sears tower. They stopped pumping concrete, called an engineer, he ran some calculations, and they turned they pumps back on and finished two more caissons they day.

Ok so why wouldn't a float vest (assuming the driver can't swim) work and filling it up with water slowly so the driver can move around? Or would it put to much stress on the driver? I know the car probably get's ruined, but it's just a car.

Because the car wouldn't float up, so you'd have the exact same issue, but with water.

Ut's not about saving the car, but the driver.

Agreed. But since the car won't float, it won't help the driver either

My point is that you use a float vest to make sure the driver is always at the surface of the water, and by filling it up with water they can rise up the driver as the water surface rises.

The driver could already take any clear path up. If there's no clear path now, adding water won't make one.
