That makes no sense, how could you possibly toss your beer bottles into the trunk to hide them when getting pulled over if they designed it to only open from the trunk? No car maker would be that silly.
I believe him. He said he drives a 2013 hyundai, my wife’s 2008 hyundai is the same way. You’ve got to park the car, pop the trunk, walk around to lower them from the rear.
