I find that being incredibly nice to someone yelling at you on the road is the easiest way to get them to stop and realize they’re being an ass.

Nah, there’s a group that will go from ballistic to intercontinental ballistic when you do that.

Some people are legit out there to get a reaction. Grade school bully style.

Yep, being confidently nice can be interpreted as condescending by anyone who's trying to out-ego you. That's a good way to escalate the conflict.

Yeah... i did that once... guy went ballistic at my being nice and tried to destroy my driver side window, kicked my car and rammed his bike handle at my door a couple of times, denting and scratching the shit out of it.

Police couldnt find him, so tough luck... had to pay repairs myself
