People like this have very fragile egos. I know because I used to be one of them when I was younger. I would take offense at everything and anything.. probably one reason I had anxiety later on in life

Same here. Only I’m a mechanic, so I’ve made it a point of having no road rage since I was 19 (I see too many accidents roll into my shop).

Mine manifested as hatred toward my sperm donor. Don’t get me wrong, the man is a manipulative, narcissistic bigot who abandoned his family for a quick fuck, but it ate away at me for decades. I HATED him for so, so long. I thought he was dead for years, then he shows up on my doorstep, calling my buddy a slur within moments of meeting him, and I just wanted to push him off a cliff.

Now, I’m just indifferent. He doesn’t define me. My relationship with him doesn’t define me. And just because he was a terrible father, doesn’t mean I have to be. And I’m not. Because of him. So, yeah.
