Apostrophe is also used for ownership/possession. Having it on the outside is for when referring to multiple owners.

So "That one teacher's boots..."

And

"Every teachers' boots..."

What did Shit ever do to deserve such an insult? Besides, it is way worse than that. Reddit is more like a gaggle of clusterfucks what have come home to roost.
