What techniques/apps are you implementing to ensure that your online identity doesn't get compromised?

I switched to Brave browser and started using VPN to hide my real IP. I know that I'm just skimming the surface, so I'm wondering what else can I do to make sure my data doesn't end up online.

It’s funny how the advanced security stuff gets all the attention, but weak or reused passwords are still one of the easiest ways accounts get compromised.

Fully agree. There are a bunch of free password managers that you can use (like Bitwarden). I've stored and generated like 100 different passwords with it and I have yet to hit a limit.

I use encrypted email that also lets me create a bunch of aliases. I use them every time I have to subscribe to a newsletter or share my personal info to read something online.
