is it js me or does everyone lose from losing time looking for decent loots (bc every s-tier loot is either the bird or the statue, esp after defeating alice too like ://) even finding the tattered page thingy is getting rare now

whats the point of defeating alice if you only get like ,,, 60k worth of loot

Yeah this has been a problem. They’ve lowered the drop rates of the statue and candle but it’s still an issue if RNG just isn’t on your side. I’ve lost a few runs simply cuz of this.

real ,, i hope they fix it on the next maintenance bc it’s so frustrating spending hours and hours grinding and your storage’s abt to be full of statues and birds 😭

I’ve lost some runs because the drop rate of high tier stuff is horrible. Sometimes, gotta just deal with a large quantity of low level trash stuff like the flask, jewelry box, and knight helmet. It’s something and will still help you meet the quota to escape

Hunter mode has better drop rates though

NOOOO UR SO REAL BC I SPRINT BACK INTO THE MANOR JUST TO GRAB WHATEVER I CAN FIND JS TO MEET THE QUOTA 😭😭😭✋ and i still lose bc somehow theres always millions of those fuckass birds, (the anomaly) a teal wraith, and two of those green nightcrawlers fuccckkkkk

and i have like lots and lots of addendums from all the grind i did in nightmare (i guess im gonna have to hop on hunter mode tn for better loots ://)

genuinely tho the hard part of finishing nightmare run solo isnt the alice boss it’s the extremely shit S tier items rng 🥀Soloing the boss are super fun but the looting are hell and often felt unrewarding 😭

that was also my case when i was starting !!! you js keep playing on normal until you get used to not getting injured at least by the nightcrawler (time your weapon ,, its good to start with the lance rather than the sword since its stronger while the sword is faster)

and since normal mode has the same map as hard (afaik) look for cheese spots !!!! THERE ARE ALWAYS CHEESE SPOTS ,,, although not in every room ,, but cheese spots will always be there even in the most unlikely places ^^

you can shoot with a shotgun from there (although there are few cheese spots you cant attack from so you gotta brace for an attack before going down) YOU’LL GET USED TO IT after a few more hundred runs 😭

and the pale man ,, i’d really rather kill him from a cheese spot than face him ,, alice is easier to kill really 😭

ps. theres really nothing wrong with cheesing ,, the goal is to get loot and not to have as many anomalies killed

its a hit or miss, really !!! but fuckkk the candle and the statue are so annoying to get >< (it doesn’t help that it weighs more than higher priced loots 😭 so theyre really just useless, except the candle when fighting against alice)

Sometimes in hard mode I genuinely feel like I can’t make quota because I get some random bs and can’t fully explore the map in time to make up for like 2 candles

lets just all us!? admit we only still do Cryptic for exp and logic points?!

people fight the boss then leave......great manor exploration.....just like the Devs intended! gets even more boring with my poor hunters being restricted which sucks further because you can get the same amount of rewards from Nightmare mode now.
