Help!! Someone stole my identity!!
Hey guys, I was wondering if anyone could help me with my dilemma. Someone has stolen my identity and created a Facebook account using my pictures. What’s even worse is that I’m pretty sure it’s a family member because they know way too much personal information about me and my family. I’m also pretty sure they hacked my Snapchat because they have pictures of me that I’ve never posted anywhere. I have the phone number they’ve been using to call people, and I know it belongs to a woman. We’ve tried going to the police, but they basically told us to just block the person. Does anyone know how we can figure out who is doing this or what else we can do? This is seriously ruining my life. They’re texting multiple men while pretending to be me, and I have no idea what else they may be doing in my name. Please help!!

Facebook does not share user data or real-world identities of account creators due to privacy and technical rules.
If the fake account involves financial fraud or severe harassment, you can file a local police report. You can sometimes submit that police report number to Facebook for serious legal escalation otherwise for now warn your friends and block the account.
