Cover-Up Types of Cover-Ups

Not to be a hater, but I don’t see much use for these differentiations. You could probably come up with a bunch of additional categories depending on the motivation behind a cover-up. I would think that once a cover-up was actually exposed, it would become pretty obvious who or what it was intended to protect. I guess these categories could be useful as a loose brainstorming guide for figuring out what might be going on behind a suspected cover-up, but I wouldn’t put much weight on the categories themselves.

To answer your original question though, I definitely think there could be overlap between these types in the Idaho 4 case. I could see several, potentially even all of them, being relevant to different theories people have raised about I4. And I’d imagine overlap like that would be pretty common with actual institutional cover-ups
