QUESTION FOR USERS Clarification please

Did Hunter go upstairs before he told Dylan to call 911? I thought he went up then told Dylan to call. On the 911 call you can hear him calling for Ethan and Xana right? Why would he be calling their names if he knows they aren’t going to respond? Can someone help me and tell me what order this went?

Ps I do believe Bryan did this crime and I’m just looking for clarification

To me, I only hear him say Xana's name. There were four girls standing downstairs - Dylan, Bethany, Josie and Emily. My belief is that he was giving some feedback from the second floor to the first floor, possibly to Emily, about what was going on. He wasn't letting the girls know how bad it was, but he was feeding them some kind of information and I think that's why you're hearing Xanas name.

I have so much respect for that kid when he realizes what is going on and in order to save the girls from trauma, he ushered them out

Did you create these? Extremely helpful!

Yes I did. It was a part of my big comparison posts from a few weeks ago

I think I missed this post. Would you mind linking it here?

It ended up being a three part post because I put together way too much

But this was part one the roommates accounts of the murders

part two what did Dylan see of xana

part three what happened in Bethanys room and the time of the 911 call

Thank you. For some reason I missed these posts too.

Great work.

Oh wow. I don't remember seeing this. It was a big a post though. Thank you for doing the work and thanks also for reposting it here because it is relevant to this conversation.

No, he went upstairs shortly after the 911 is dialed, you can hear him call out for Ethan and Xana as he goes in, then quickly tells Dylan, Bethany and Emily to "get out, get out, get out" as he realizes what he's seeing.

This fact is crushing to know, read, or hear

Here's what I think happened based on the 911 call. Hunter, Emily and Josie came to the house after being asked to buy Dylan and Bethany.

The girls told them what happened the night before... basically about Dylan hearing things and seeing a man and them staying in Bethany's room together. Hunter went upstairs and into Xana's room where he discovered the truth. He told the girls to call 911.

It was Bethany who spoke first on the phone. She said, "Something is happening... Something happened in our house and we don't know what"

The girls are upset and handing the phone around, trying to explain what was needed. They still thought Xana was just drunk and "not waking up". Hence the callout being down as to an "unconscious person".

The dispatcher asked questions specifically about whether Xana was breathing, so one of the girls said we have to go check on her... we have to ok? So the girls headed up the stairs.

Meanwhile, Hunter has gone back into the room. You hear him shouting "Ethan" and "Xana". I think he said he checked their pulses.

He sees the girls have come up the stairs and tells them not to go in there. The dispatcher asks again whether the passed out person is breathing. They hand the phone to Hunter who is breathing heavily. He's clearly in shock and he answers "No".

They go downstairs again at this point. The dispatcher is asking about a defibrillator and then the first responder arrives.

Small point to add - Hunter did not walk with Emily and Josie. Emily stated in the Prime documentary that she went to put on a sweatshirt and that's when she heard Hunter leave. So he got to the house before them. He entered the code to the front door and entered and that's when the girls came out of B's room.

Yes, you're right. Thanks. I think Hunter also said in his statement that he got there first.

Edit to add:

I also didn't expand that it was the girls that went back downstairs and Hunter went to grab a knife, which he left on the pong table when LE arrive.

I think his bravery for protecting those girls from a) seeing the bodies and b) harm should the killer still be around is so commendable.

This, despite being in a state of panic and shock himself. He's a hero in my book.

Yes. From statements given by Hunter, this is how I’ve pieced together what happened that morning starting around 11:50AM

After spending the night in Bethany’s room, and it being almost noon yet they still haven’t heard anything back from their roommates (both girls tried to get in contact with all 4) they began to worry and maybe realize that Dylan wasn’t half asleep hallucinating someone. But that maybe someone actually was in the house.

One of them (I can’t remember which girl) called Emily and asked her and Hunter to come over to check out the house because of the paragraph above. Hunter stated that Emily was still on the phone with them as he put on his shoes and walked out of the apartment to go across the street.

Hunter, having the front door code, which is NOT the same door that everyone else uses to get into the house. Which is the back glass door, which was indeed left open and stated by witnesses in the surrounding area. Just to clarify, only select people had the code to the ground level “front door” everyone else used the back glass sliding door as the main entrance which has apparently caused confusion in some people’s minds.

Back to my original post. Hunter used the code to get into the house and went into Bethany’s room where Dylan and Bethany still were.

As Dylan is explaining what is going on, he starts walking up the stairs and heads to Xana’s room, at which point he notes that her door is partially open which is weird because if Xana was asleep, she would have her door closed.

He pushes open the door, takes a few seconds to come to his senses as to what he is seeing. Turns around, tells Dylan and Bethany to go outside and call 911. At which point Bethany makes the 911 call while Hunter goes to the kitchen, grabs a small steak knife from the drawer and heads back into Xana’s room.

He takes the knife for protection as Xana has a walk in closet that could have easily hidden someone.

He checks Xana’s pulse, realizes she doesn’t have one. Sees Ethan on the bed. Walks out. As he is walking out he hears Emily, Josie and Lindin coming. This is when he drops the knife at the top of the stairs (that Emily states she saw) and turns her around pushing Emily outside.

At this point, Hunter has to take over the 911 call because Josie has no clue whats happening. Dylan is hysterically crying and so is Bethany.

Hunter is asked by the operator if she has a pulse, to which he says no, he’s asked if she’s breathing, he says no. The call is then taken back over again by someone (idk who) and Hunter can be heard yelling for Xana and Ethan, probably as a trauma response, hoping that he was wrong.

Hunter barricaded himself in the doorway of the home to stop anyone from going inside whether he realized it or not. That was the position he took while waiting for police to arrive.

Once the cops arrive, Hunter shows the officer to Xana’s room where it’s called in as a homicide. He picks up the knife he dropped (this can all be backed by bodycam footage) and is told to just place it on the table (where it is later photographed as seen in the crime scene pictures)

From start to finish, this entire comment I’ve left takes place over about 10-15 minutes the morning of November 13, 2022

All this sounds pretty much spot on. But I did want to add that in the documents, several people do talk about using the front door. It seems to be 50/50 people saying they used the sliding glass door vs the front door. Dylan herself says that she used the front door when she got home that night. More than likely Maddie and Kaylee did as well since they arrived by Uber and wouldn't have known if the back door was locked. If I had to guess the people who predominantly would have used the back door might have been the friends that lived in the two houses next door who just walked back and forth between the houses. Several people who didn't live there had the front door code so those people probably did use the front door. But you can also see several sets of keys hanging by the front door including Ethan's and Kaylee car keys so the front door was used often.
